I started playing Skyrim again. I got all my mods sorted out and I'm making progress. I also started watching Hoarders with the girlfriend, while playing Skyrim. I realized that in Skyrim I am a hoarder. It's hard not to be in a digital environment. But I spent countless hours playing inventory management instead of slaying dragons. There is a desire to pick everything up "just in case". Of course the issue is if I pick everything up my character becomes overburdened and I have to go through my inventory and decide what to discard. Then I have to go through my inventory again when I get back into town because some things I pick up I'm going to sell. The situation got so bad I downloaded a mod, the bag of holding, so I could skip inventory management in the field. The up side is I can pick everything up and shove it in the bag of holding without much concern. The down side is that I never learn any self control and pick up nearly everything and I have to sort through my hoard at some point when I go to sell it and it's hard to keep track of every bit.
