MAJOR VIRUS PROBLEM!!!

UbrJetGunner asks; ok im trying to open my start menu, but when i open it. it closes right away. so i can't even back up all my movies to my flash drive....how do i fix this please help!!!

Robshocka responds; First buy a DeLorean, you know where I'm going. Next eBay a flux capacitor. Find an arms dealer on the black market, or perhaps some Libyan extremists who have some weapons grade plutonium but haven't had much luck finding scientists capable of making a bomb, check Craigslist. Take their plutonium and give them a shiny bomb casing full of old pinball parts. Assemble a time machine using some downloaded schematics from a Back to the Future fan site.

Second travel back in time, confirm you have done this before you proceed to the next step otherwise you're wasting your time. Not only should you be in the past, but you should be in the past before your major virus problems. Install an Anti-Virus program on your PC. Keep it updated. Scan your PC from time to time, most AV's allow you to scan specific files. So scan specific files that you download that may be sketchy before you use them.

For the sake of length I'll assume that you're sharing your PC with other people. No matter what precautions you take to protect your PC nothing will keep you safe from them, nothing. Install all the anti-virus programs you want, write down careful instructions, use Firefox, disable downloads, use Net Nanny, whatever you do those troglodytes will figure out how to wreck the careful balance you've achieved through sheer stupidity. Two things are certain though, your PC will always be FUBAR'd within the week and not one of the other users will have a clue how it happened. I think you'll agree, they need to be killed.

This should take care of most of the issues that have been cropping up. Just make sure you're the only one who ever uses your PC from now on. At this point if anything ever goes wrong you know who did it, and chances are you'll know what you did, that is if you happen to be me. If you happen to be you, then forget it. Get a new PC.
